Corporate Restructure of
the Twelve Days of Christmas

The partridge will be retained, but the pear tree never turned out to be a cash crop as forecasted.  It will be replaced by a plastic hanging plant manufactured by under aged children in a 3rd world country to provide a considerable savings.
The two turtle doves represent redundancy that is simply not cost-effective.  In addition, their romance during working hours could not be condoned.  The positions are therefore eliminated.
The three French hens have been deported by the INS and will not be replaced.
The four calling birds will be replaced by an automated voice mail system; thereby saving on feed, cages and long distance charges.
The five golden rings have been put on hold by the Board of Directors due to the rising cost of insurance.
The six geese-a-laying will be retrained to learn new skills that will therefore enhance their output.
The seven swans-a-swimming have been eliminated by the Director as they will be redundant with the enhanced productivity of the six geese-a-laying.
As you know, the eight maids-a-milking concept has been under heavy scrutiny by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  A male/female balance in the work force is being sought.
The nine ladies dancing will be phased out as these individuals grow older and can no longer do the steps.
Ten lords-a-leaping is overkill.  The high cost of lords has prompted the Board to replace this group with 10 out-of-work Congressmen.
Eleven pipers piping is a simple case of the band getting too big.  They will be replaced with an electronic musical keyboard.
Yes, needless to say, you guessed this one correctly.  The 12 drummers drumming are deemed redundant and will be replaced with the musical keyboard also.
